Rungis Market Produce Demonstration

Rungis Market produce demonstration at Westminster Kingsway College - Friday 14th November, 3pm.

Rungis Market, the largest fresh foods market in the world, celebrates its 40th anniversary and is organizing for this occasion a demonstration with the ACF. Two companies will present the best of their produce from Rungis:

Maison Huguenin (meat, poultry, game)
Charraire (vegetables and fruits)
Two main courses will be prepared by Gilles Quillot, Executive Chef at the French Embassy, using the best and freshest seasonal produce from France.

ACF Landmark Gala Dinner 2008

Following the success of the 2007 Gala Dinner, we are delighted ]to announce that this year's event will play host to acclaimed Michelin star and celebrity Chefs.

At least years event, Gary Rhodes, Raymond Blanc, John William, Eric Chavot, Philippe Corrick and Ian Le Visconte were invested as the first Disciples d'Escoffier of Great Britain and we are hoping that they will be able to join us, along with the top Chefs elected for the 2008 investiture

Heritage de France

Heritage de France presents a pageant of fashion, dance and music spanning more than 2000 years of French and British history. On Saturday 15th March ( 3:00pm – 5:30pm) 60 British models in authentic costume will enact 23 scenes from the past and present.

Westminster Gastronomy Collection opens its archives at Westminster Kingsway College.

Westminster Kingsway College has announced that it will be allowing greater access to the Westminster Gastronomy Collection - one of the finest collections of culinary arts, cookery and gastronomy texts in the UK. The Westminster Gastronomy Collection covers gastronomic history, cookery and culinary arts from around the world, with additional texts on associated topics such as, healthy eating, place settings and table decoration that reflects changes in society over the past 100 years. The Westminster Gastronomy Collection comprises several key donations from individuals such as the celebrated 20th century artist and photographer (and little known culinary enthusiast), Lee Miller and the legendary London-based chef Michel Bourdin as well as loans from organizations like the Association Culinaire Francaise.
